Facials range from a straightforward cleanse-and-moisturize appointment to something built around extractions, a mask formulated for your skin type, or a light exfoliation step. There's no single standard version, which is exactly why it's worth asking a provider what their specific facial includes before you book -- not assuming it matches whatever you're picturing.
